Does the photomontage work?
So the girl was shot in my studio and the background shot while on holidays.
The lighting doesn't match, and the colour grading doesn't either. The only thing I have done here is take a 2d image plane and try to blend within 3ds max (with a plugin I am makeing) image. This is the raw render. Still finesing the code but to my eye that has looked at this image too closely it works, then falls apart when I look all the flaws.
Hopefully it should allow me to blend the models I have shot with new backgrounds both 3d and 2d

Oh... That background!!!
Actually not too bad at all. At first glance I thought you had convinced her to disrobe at the venue. Overall good work. SOme minor scaling issues, but the lighting actually looks pretty good.
