The fogs on Signal Hill were impenetrable. Made up for no thunder and lightning, ever.. just one little water spout.

you've done a number of fine and moody fog shots, and this is yet another, with the ghost-like tree silhouettes, preceded by a big open field of grass. The contrast is striking: By giving all that grass in front, it sets off the trees, and makes them odd 'visitors'. Eerie and silent, and evocative, as always. (LA really does get fog. It's rare in Chicago, I know that...)

There is always a special mood over fog on an unwindy day. Peaceful and with a feeling, that the world is abandoned :) Wonderful shot.
