I seen an actual real plane similar to this design in Midland-Odessa airport museum . from what I read they were hell to land and take off. very easy to flip over Frontiers of Flight Museum (Hobby to Love?) for tallpindo

I first saw it as a small scale (Lindberg line, I think) model in the 50's with really thin walls and sharp meeting edges. Definitely a tiny tail volume.
