The mission to shut down the next lab of the evil corporation had started. We had tracked it down to a hilly area. Now flying there directly with the hyper plane was not possible as there was no clearing that was big enough to land it on except for one place and that seemed to be used by the evil corporation's helicopters. So using that area was out of question even with the invisibility cloak the hyper plane had. We also knew this area was being monitored by a spy satellite belonging to the evil corporation. They had upped the security around their labs and bases after the last attack and this was an extremely important facility for them. They were activity looking for any vehicle movements etc around this area and were ready to use lethal force to protect the facility. The mercenaries guarding that facility had a simple order - shoot first, ask question later. After the last fiasco, the evil corporation did not want to take any chances. Miho landed the hyper plane some distance away and on a side that was almost impossible to traverse over even by off road vehicles and in any case you could only travel up to the first cliff wall. One needed to scale and cross the 2 sheer cliff walls to come to the hill on which the lab was located inside a deep cave, where another sheer cliff face confronted you. Even the ground up to the first cliff and between the cliffs walls was filled with rocks and boulder where one could very easily lose ones footing and break bones. The evil corporation did not think it needed to put people to protect that area. It was impossible for anyone or any special forces to attack from that side. Anyone attacking from that side would have to be world champion rock / mountain climbers and they would have to climb up and down 5 sheer cliffs faces with all their tactical gears they would have to carry for the mission and so it was simply not possible. Even if they attempted it, it would take too long to just get up one cliff wall. And though there were no people permanently guarding this area, there were helicopter / drone patrols doing the rounds of that area every half an hour and anyone attempting it would be spotted easily and with that the element of surprise gone which in turn would led to a failed mission with all of them being killed or captured. There was only one opening in the rings of the cliff walls around the hill and that was on the opposite side of were we were planning to enter from. That opening was approachable with off road vehicles and it was under heavy monitoring and guard. The evil corporation also monitored the sky around the hill in case someone tried to parachute into that area from above. So as far as they could phantom they had the place well secured and they were confident that whatever attacked them last time would not be able to penetrate this lab without detection. We covered the distance from the hyper plane to the first sheer cliff wall on foot. We had planned it carefully to do it once the drone / helicopter patrol passed that area. It would be back in 30 minutes so we had that much time to get up and over the first cliff wall. It was hard going but that was the only way to get there unnoticed. Miho carried almost all the gears because of her strength. We finally reached the cliff edge and I looked up and commented to Miho how were we ever going to climb this sheer cliff wall and get over to the other side in the time left for the drone / helicopter patrol to return. Miho smiled and said to wait and see and then she started climbing without any kind of protection or gear. She had her backpack on which had water and some ropes for her to pull us (me and the wolf) plus the gears. It only took her about a minute plus to scale the sheer cliff face and then she was over the ledge on top and she went out of view. I was basically speechless. She had again surprised me with her abilities. I launched a small drone to see if she was ok, and as the drone came up to the top of the cliff ledge I saw Miho sitting there on the edge of the ledge drinking some water and smiling at me. She was enjoying herself and I am sure she knew that I was shocked ! She mouthed the words "What a view !" for me and I could not help but smile..... Then she threw down the long rope and I first tied the gears to it which Miho pulled up. Next was the wolf and then finally me. I was surprised by the spectacular view from the top. But well there was no time to enjoy it, Miho first lowered me on the other side, then the wolf and finally the gears. Then she let go of the rope and gingerly climbed down the sheer cliff face on the other side of the wall. We found a shelter underneath a boulder and we waited for either the drone or the helicopter patrol to turn up and pass by. Then it would be onto the second cliff wall. If the rocks look real to you that is because they are 'real'. They have been 3D scanned by Quixel megascan. I am using two of their high quality 3D rock models on this scene. Both are of volcanic rock type. It was a fun scene to create. I used one rock prop to create the feeling of the ledge and I used another larger one as the background cliff face. So it was a fairly simple scene setup. I spent some time posing Miho on the ledge and played around with the POV a bit before settling on this view of her just having climbed up the ledge and taking a little break to drink some water and enjoy the view.
