after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.
p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

Well, I see she's been dipping into the trippy tea....... LOL Wild and fun render, Steve! Love the way you've integrated Bong into the trippy background. A fun render, bro! Now if I can get my eyes to stop spinning.... LOL

I forgot that I never commented on this---a terrific swirling fantasy, you really take the black and white idea to its extreme here. I'm not sure if Bong is the creator of this for Zlata (maybe he put something in that already potent cigarette---when I was in college, you never took a J from someone unless you knew them, lol, 'cause ya never knew what was in them!), or maybe Zlata's dreaming Bong, or maybe they both took hits off the ol' "Leaf" smokes, and are presently on Mars...but you did a great job bringing this to life. And you left in color in just the right places---in zlata's body (just a bit of her natural color) and her great eyes, and in the train and box of smokes. Also, the stark black of Z's hair and dress are striking, as is the black and white floor---you use checkerboard floors very effectively, Steve, very strong design elements in your work (that kind of motif can be boring, in some hands, but you've made it a zapping visual impact, each time); and I love the cartoon birds around her head, right out of old cartoons. Even the train seems whacked out. With that mouse probably being the only straight character in the whole piece. Really well done. Like I say, you have genuine talent, and you can pack a punch. Bravo.
