Description

I held my camera out of a narrowly opened window to get this because the cable car windows are not clear. there was barely enough room to put the camera through the window opening

Reminds me of the funicular systems they have in the alps. But this is SO different, with all the trees! I wonder where it is? Beautiful. Great that you could get the camera lens through the window. Keep up the good work! :-)

No need for the long arms of a monkey. I never trust the one-horse shay nature of a cable where when one strand fails you better hurry and replace the whole thing though that strand beginning to untwist may already have jammed the winch. In regular use engineers can predict this life limit and the failure method is shrouded by maintenance.
