Every year I tell myself I won't do so many tubs with annuals, but every year I'm tempted again! I don't do 'tasteful', as nature doesn't recognise this sort of affectation. See more Here

Oh. Is there a wrong way to plant annuals together? I just put what I like and hope for the best. I've got some lovely little purple stuff that came back this year in one of my pots. It must have been there for a couple-three years now, because I've forgotten what it's called. It's quite cheerful! It fills the pot all by itself, and looks nice.

This looks like a wonderful mix. As for tasteful, one must strive to catch the eye. If you haven't done so already read "When I am Old I Shall Wear Purple" by Jenny Joseph.
