I think its a black kite, wildlife bird of pray - I think the population of them has growing last few years - of course he was very high up in the tree...

Nice photo despite the height. The higher up, the easier to see potential prey. It looks like a young bird. Keep up the good work! :-)

J'aime beaucoup les rapaces, il y en a de nombreux dans ma région. On voit souvent des groupes de ces oiseaux tournoyer au dessus des tracteurs au travail pour profiter des rongeurs délogés par les charrues! Superbe photo, Priska!

A super shot Priska - I have not seen one of these myself and it is new to me. I will be seeing red kites at their feeding station in a couple of weeks time. Just to put you right on one word - we spell prey for hunting, not pray which is meant for speaking to your god !!!!
