Description

I am indeed tickled pink by all the birthday wishes! Thankyou all. I am having an extended set of mini celebrations: lunch with my son and wife, my favourite step grandson and a friend, last Wednesday. Another coffee and sandwich lunch last Friday, then finally a pub lunch with my brother, his partner and a friend who shares this birthday week next Wednesday. My brother was my 4th BD present, and was born at home a few months before the NHS started. I had been told to expect this very special gift, and had been told how it would come out of Mummy's tummy,and indeed how it got in there. What nobody told me until I saw it that it was a BOY! I had assumed that all babies would be girls,, but I have been pleased ever since ! Peter Beales Rose of the year 2007. Masses of lightly scented, well formed, medium pink blooms. Dark, glossy, healthy foliage. Upright habit.

This is a gorgeous rose.

I was the center of attention until I was five and then my brother arrived. I remember coming home from school and being ushered into my parent's bedroom where he lay asleep in his crib. Less than a week old and he was almost as big as I was.

Happy birthday, Andrea. Sounds like you're having a wonderful time.
