this is awesome, Dee. There is so much fairytale mood in this. It could as well be a scene of a musical. Great.

I'm back for just a short visit, just a couple of comments in each gallery...and it's reeeeeallly hard to pick just 2, in galleries like yours, because I have to leave out so many that I love. My choosing this or that image doesn't mean I think any less of the others, because I love everything you post! But with lack of time, I have to choose. So here goes...
I picked this because I did a lot of theatrical work, years back (as a musician and writer, NOT as a dancer, lol!) (if you ever saw me dance, you'd know why I'm laughing); and because there's a definite theatrical element in your work. Love the cartoon-like nature of your top hat dancer here; cross-eyed, definitely a cartoonish character; but he's got the right pose---that in-between moment when he stops to smile at the audience, or is about to announce the next act, and you know the next dance is just seconds away...And he's dressed just right, he's got the white cane (which dancers used as a '3d limb'), and the dark black shoes, etc. I love that he's carrying a rose in a jar---a jar in a jar, here---and he's on a swing suspended from a silver moon: Total 30s and 40s Broadway stuff! Done to the hilt. Love the Manhattan-like skyline---though it could be any huge city---and the shards of I-don't-know-what around the center image: Like the dance breaks through the sonic barrier and shatters the night. (That's the way these performances were conceived---to shatter the night, ka-boom! Lullaby of Broadway...) With a real moon in the background, lighting up the sky. Delightful, Dee, and really true to form! ("Come on along and listen to, the lullaby of Broadway...")
