Somehow I'm not surprised. Besides, who watches the watchers? How come tech like this isn't used to DETER spying, like with what happened to the Democratic National Committee? Everything becomes a conspiracy if you give it enough time.
Great field pic, Richard.

Were you doing something you didn't want the government to see:-)

how did you know? I have not used a color printer for more than 15 years. when I realized that the inks last for maybe 4 8x10 prints, I threw it in the trash can

This kind of structure is great. I knew it from world war grave yards.

impressive pano view! since I noticed that one print needs to much ink, its to expensive and always to dark I only use black for documents only since 15 years ☺

Well.... Having been in the copying/printing service industry since 1981.... If they haven't come for me now, looks like I'm home free.....
Tracking dots, V-chips, and so on were - according to the government feel-good folks - were put in place to track counterfeit money, checks, etc. I don't doubt that there is some way of tracking who printed what. Most modern scanners will not even scan paper money. You will get an error message that there is no original on the scanner bed, or document feeder. No one will confirm or deny it, but there has to be some kind of algorithm in the scanner's processor that recognizes currency.
Now I know why I'm constantly replacing the yellow ink..... LOL
Lovely shot of the vineyards!
