Description

Norway, Sogn og Fjordane, Gaupne On the way to another Fjell we passed the village Gaupne and visited the old church built 1647 bis 1652. It was closed as always because it was september. Thanks a lot for all welcome comments ;o)))

Lush color, depth, light and shadow in this outstanding shot of the church and cemetery, Rita. But if the church is closed in September, what happens if one of its worshippers dies that month? What happens with the burial?
