looked like something out of a Buck Rodger's scifi TV show I am sure to many people

In my world that was the dog catcher's car he used for city police patrol after the previous chief had a heart attack and passed away. His truck with the cover was what dispensed monoxide into a box when a stray had been with him too long. We looked in on his business one Winter while looking at muskrat traps. This motive showed up again in Ann Arbor.
