Description
Looks like with newer driver and new DAZ version my Daz renders are now being done in a decent time. This one took 2 hours which I do not know if it is good or bad but is compatible to my old Titan X. Si9nce my new card is so much quicker it probable it is still not right, but at least I can forget the Octane universe where every material needs to be tweaked to get the Max render out of it. I have heard they are working on it. No song sorry. Ya it's Victoria 8, but I through this together just to see DAZ's speed. If you look at it full size, you will see it is pretty large so render time is something I can live with.

This is looking pretty darn good, Rick. And it sounds like maybe the render times are a bit more manageable. Super work on this, my friend!
I've not jumped into Gen 8 as yet, nor downloaded the newer version of DAZ. I'm not sure I want to update it on my laptop - it works smoothly aside from the excruciating render times... I may give it a go on this machine as it has a GTX-1070, and I understand the new DS will work on the GTX cards. We shall see.....

Very nice. Glad to hear your GPU problem is more or less solved. I think the long render time should be the large size and also the water material. Frankly you don't need to render bigger than 1920x1040 as for most that would be the monitor size. Very few will have bigger resolution.
