Description

Sevaril vol. 2 "The Queen" From my Sevaril story. The old king in the mighty kingdom of Korr is dead three years ago - and worse the crownprince has been missing for seven years. Because of mysterious deaths, the king over 20 years ago send his youngest surviving son, Ardanchecht, in exile in the cold north under the hardihooded royal rangers protection. But even heavily guarded the crownprince disappears. Without a lawful ruler chaos and corruption fills the kingdom as a diseace with greedy nobles and others, who by their deeds weakenen the former so powerful kingdom. The secretary of the Royal Counsel, Alarik, takes over more and more power. And even worse, old and new enemies are on the move. But in the high north in a small villages not far from the sea, a farmgirl has been living for 20 years now. Iphiss is the daughter of the missing crownprince Ardanchecht and the sea spirit Merriawan, a goddes for the elven peoples in the west. Raised by a farmer not knowing who she is until she is told at the age of 17 by the wizard Pentwahir. Eduacated by the wizard Pentwahir from the age of 6 and from 9 in weaponry by a ghostly shadow, Foice, she prepares to the task: Restore law and order in the kingdome of Korr. After adventures in the elven lands, Vetrauil, helped by the royal ranger Nightshade and his halfsister, the beautiful but also good demoness, Ladyknight Darkhark, a mighty sorceress, Iphis is heading for Korr. In Korr she hurries to the Palace helped by Darkhawk who paralizes Alariks men and start talking and convince the royal guard while Iphis wearing Sevaril *1, the rulers sword (not seen in the image). And now flanked by the stout veteran royal guards she hastely heads for the regiments in town to join her. In just one hour in the million people big capital, rumors quickly spreads: The Monarch is back! Young, determinated, wise and fearless with great leading skills, Iphis begin to take over the big city. The citizens joyfully filling the streets shouting: The hope is born!..*2 A resume from my Sevaril quadrology (*1) Sevaril is a mythological sword made by light elves, it can only be worn by the true ruler of Korr. For unwearthy it will be deadly.. (*2) "Born of hope" is vol. 1. All for now - have a great week! Rhanagaz-JohnnyC.
