Here out teacher has donned his helmet. The shoulder protection of fish scale plates is quite visible in this photo. This weighs, but since the weight is evenly distributed the knight is quite mobile! But, running takes its toll, so the knight becomes slower and tired if on the run. On horse back the knight is as mobile as without armor - the horse is carrying the weight.

For a second I thought the woman in Swedish colors was carrying the sword. I thought, "Uh-oh, she's gonna go after her noble husband.

Actually it's the man with the English helmet who is holding his sword. But, yes, it seems to be the lady.
