no flowers however
I was outside with the dogs and I heard a really loud roar of high hp engines. I decided not to run for my camera to my dismay. it was a Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules. it had to have been below 2000 feet because of a very low cloud cover. it was probably on it's way to Love Field Airport Dallas.
at least I was able to see it directly above my house

A low flying Hercules is an impressive sight, many years ago I was surprised to see one practicing NOE flying along a local valley. Beautiful shot.

Man, those "Herky Birds" have been around for a long time. A reliable aircraft, and just like the B-52's they just keep upgrading them. I used to work on C-130s when I was stationed in Thailand back during the Vietnam war. I expect most of those 130s are older than the pilots flying them.
