I'd increase the lighting in the shadow, just a little, and bring down the spot light, a little bit, but it's great :-)

I agree with mapps. Something else you might try is a rim light behind each character to help them stand out from the shadows. Darker renders are always tricky, you want to keep the mystery and tension of the shadows but you want to be able to see the characters. I struggle with this myself!
