Whatever you did when you processed this, I LOVE the result! The slight softness, the slight undersaturation ... everything is just perfect, to my eye. It's got a special glow that draws me in and makes me feel like I've stumbled onto the most peaceful place on earth.

Am i right that it is an HDR made with Photomatix? Maybe you could use Photomatix to made a monochrome HDR.
That might also look good IMHO.
