June 29, 2017 My camera was on maxi-zoom in to photograph something happening in the audience across from me, when suddenly this woman walked across just as I pressed the shutter. It turns out she was one of the officiating at the tournament. She’s NOT someone you’d try to mess with. A few seconds later she met her husband. HE was definitely NOT someone to mess with, either! Not just his facial expression – braided beard, long droopy mustache, braided hair, frightening facial expression. Big sword, large knife, big shield, large battle axe, stout helmet..(see Image 1892 later on). No wonder no criminals come to the Medieval Festival with guys and women like these! Enjoy! They proved to be real nice people when spoken to. They were probably doing a little role playing for the tournament.  Enjoy! But hope she doesn't scare the heck out of you! :-)
