"Shy Stare" Rendered with pure GPU, in half an hour. Before I fixed my problem with the drivers, this had taken an hour and was nowhere near as cleaned up. <3 Funnily enough, after hand-morphing her myself... I fell in love with the P3D character (I forget her name) out for G3F and used her face instead. I've made some subtle tweaks (larger eyes, naturally sad expression) that was inspired by Ball Jointed Dolls, after seeing Thornework's characters on Daz. :) This art piece, although simple, represents a change in my life. I lost someone dear to me - I depended on them too much to be my happiness, and it drove them away. But I've taken this as a wake-up call. A journey that my happiness should come from myself. That all the nurturing I thrived on from this 'partner in crime' can, and should be provided by myself. I can respect myself. Encourage myself. Love myself. I realized that, when I was doing art, I was always, always thinking about what people would think. 'No, I need to change that hair-style, someone might think it look stupid, or too childish, or...' Blah blah blah. How ridiculous. So I've decided, as an exercise, that I'm changing my thinking when I do art. I'm looking for validation from my own mind. I'm praising it myself. I fall in love with it BEFORE I upload, not after when I get the feedback. I share now need to get my ego stroked, but because we're a community, a lovely community I want to keep being part of. :) Thank you guys for reading, if you did. If you didn't...
