Description

this is the single plant that is by it's self. the other ones have not had any flowers since I cut the seeds off. July 4 2017: I had just taken a shower and when I got out I heard a very loud explosion that caused my house to shake. I got dressed and went out to investigate. the neighbor behind me was gas welding and I suppose the acetylene hose caught on fire. he was putting water on the fire which was doing nothing except keeping the oxygen bottle cool. I went and got an extinguisher from my garage and it put out the fire immediately . it was very fortunate for him and anyone near that the oxygen did not explode

We planted these this year, but none have bloomed yet. Your neighbor was lucky to have you near!

Gorgeous flower. Glad you were prepared. Now maybe your neighbor will think about getting an extinguisher - and refilling yours.

Gorgeous flower, Richard! Good thing you had that extinguisher handy - you saved the day! That could have been a nasty blast if the oxygen tank overheated.
