Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive. All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

Practice makes perfect. Nice to see the two of them practicing :) !
You should be able to set up a spot light and use it. Though I always use Octane, I will try it out in IRAY and let you know if I can get it to work.

Iray in enclosed spaces is always such a thing. Above all, you should make sure that the headlight of the camera is off, otherwise you always have the same lighting from the front. For closed rooms, I got Ghostlight. See link: https://www.daz3d.com/iray-ghost-light-kit
Looks very nice, your twins!

Cool render Mike!

Spotlights have a parameter dial for diameter, maybe you need to fiddle with that if your trying to go for a classic stage spotlight effect.

Pair-work is always more pleasant than individual performance. Very nice concept and render!

love the twin act here, now I assume we get to see the show as well. for spot light effects and deep shadows, I have used godrays, and then added a spot light on deep shadows in daz. that worked out pretty fair.

i came back for one more (couldn't resist)---I have no idea about your technical questions (above): It's all totally foreign to me. But I love this piece. It's a stage, and I can see it's a club, because of the small size of the stage, and the stairs in front of the stage (a huge theater would have stairs on the side of the stage). But what a conception: It's almost as if your models are on display in a window; and yet they're clearly dancing on stage. And you use this deep luminous blue in the interior of this place: It's dark, but lit up. And just one table in the center! Probably because this is after hours...but it makes the place feel like a strange abandoned scene, where maybe some ghosts will saunter in after we leave. As always, you use black very effectively---in the floor, table top, etc: You use it as a design element, in an image where there's a lot of geometric design. And the reds and purples of the curtain (and in the women's outfits) make strong contrast to all those blues. Very well designed, and very much like a club after hours (having played jazz in tiny clubs years back, I know how these places feel after hours---they're like ghost towns, and the light is just like this: blue, eerie and abandoned). What's cool is that, come show time, it will all go back to normal in a flash. Really, really well done.
