Description

This is a test and comparison render in Poser 9 for a new material I created for a prop. After painting the PBR textures (which can be done in Substance Painter, Quixel, PixaFlux, 3D-Coat or similar applications) I used the PBR-Emulator in Poser FIREFLY, simply plugging the PBR materials in and rendering away in Poser 9. (YES, you read Poser 9, not Poser 11 !) Please definitely check out the image in FULL SIZE to evaluate what is possible. If you are tired of traditional 'too perfect'-looking textures in Poser, you should consider using the 'new generation' PBR textures even very easily in FIREFLY (Poser 9+) with the help of the PBR-Emulator. There is also a webinar coming up about this soon at DigitalArtLive, which might be worth looking into :-)
