after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.

p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

She would just die in this 100° heat. I wonder how the ladies of times gone by ever survived without air conditioning! Great steampunk feel.....

Once again, I'm only back for an image tonight (actually, I'm only commenting in a few galleries right now, but I always love to comment on you whenever I can), but I see everything, incl your terrific humor pieces and everything else you do. This has a monumental feeling, because she's so perfectly placed in the image; she's centered perfectly, and posed with a strong frontal pose, with real strength. SHe's great against that big complex steampunk backdrop, and you put her between three huge chain-links draping down---more fine composition from you. And she breaks the 'frontal' feeling by turning to our left, and blasting her gun---which gives the only blue in the whole piece (the piece is bathed in deep olive and rust tones---more of your strong color sense). The "ray" from the gun takes us right out of the image. It's really well composed, a powerful head-on piece. Centered pieces like this---ie, how she's the dead-center of the image---aren't always easy, as they can seem very obvious or too bold. But you've done centered images for a long time now, and you do them with the same panache and smart bold style as you do with everything else. Always a pleasure to comment on your work; as I've said you're a wonderful image maker, and your style can be felt a mile away. Terrific work. I hope you're doing well, Steve. I wish you nothing but light. (And thank you for your always caring, supportive comments.)
