after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

Awesome image as always, Steve!
Got home a bit after noon today, with 4 new holes in me, and minus a bag full of rocks.... I'm a little sore, but nothing too bad. The Doc said to take it pretty easy for a couple days, so I won't be doing a lot of commenting or uploading for a couple days..
I'll be back! Soon!

(I thought I'd commented on this!). Your background is really quite colorful, but you have muted it with atmosphere and mist, and it looks like a dream. The two Celtic crosses---with an ominous crow on one---frame this mysterious woman, this 'prophet'---who is beautifully lit by that green-yellow-white light that shoots from her palms. She's a great center of focus here. And she sits on yet another old Celtic object---a table which also looks like monument. She really commands the piece, and those deep red wings make great contrast to all the tones behind her. With, I think, 2 moons in the background (one looks very small). Terrific mood piece; and your composition is like a photographer's: Her legs are flush with the tree line, her wings touch the same point in both Celtic crosses, I love how one of the wing-ribs cuts into the moon; the table is framed equally by the two crosses, and the mists render the surroundings both soft and dreamlike. More fine imagination from you, Steve.
