very soft and fine capture, has a film feeling (which I miss, since digital has taken over for a long time now). The light is gentle, and it's dappled, and the composition is of a gentle road drawing us back into more quiet beauty. Very sweet work on this, Christian, you do monochrome beautifully.

(I never understood why we call it "monochrome," since it's got a large array of grays, and even sepias...even pure black and white is "duo-tone". Strange how we got that word for desaturated photography!)
