Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

I have found that people that don't care for animals are often selfish with other humans as well.

Truly are very clever indeed super shot Barb!!

Daft? Says who? What I have observed of my rats, and then Kitty, animals are smart in their own manner. And they all have emotions in common, though these can be expressed in different ways. When Kitty wants a little exercise she jumps up and grabs my hand with her claws (OUCH!), but I know what she's trying to tell me and it's off to playing. Nice photo of Mr. Buck enjoying his favorite spot! Keep up the good work! :-)

Looks like he is keeping cool in the shade here, and being as I have had the good fortune of meeting your Mr Buck on more than one occasion I can vouch for the fact he is far from daft. In fact I found him to be a remarkable old soul of a cat, and very clever. hugs and love xxxxxxx

That is true, great capture!

I agree. To watch the animals both wild and pets, can teach us so much.

Definitely no argument from me.. Animals are very smart and clever indeed...
Including the smarty pants racoon that keeps dumping the bird seed from the feeder before sunup. Our feeder is tied on a big limb on the fir tree out our back window. He climbs the tree hangs on with his back feet and grabs the feeder with the his front two and tips the seeds out.
A trap flap is on the feeder to keep out such animals, including squirrels, and big birds, but the Raccoon is Way to Clever..LOL. Lucky for the little birds he misses a day or two and then returns, therefore we have gone through a few more bags of seeds than usual..
Mr. Buck is very clever, thanks for sharing his story Barbara.

I always say:"We (humans) could learn still so much from animals, if we only where willing to. I 100% agree with durleybeachbum! Such a beautiful Cat you have!
