Description
Greetings, Everyone!
This lovely lady is Bindi, a recent addition to the T.N.A. IT department. She's a prodigy when it comes to computers, coding, and networking. During college, she managed to find and shut down several hacking sites and scammers. She even studied under Ranpha for a couple semesters. Ranpha said she was one of her top students.
Bindi has a sister a couple years older than she is, and she idolizes her older sister (who, by the way, helped her get on at T.N.A.) In case you care to take a guess at who Bindi's sis is.... The hairdo might be a clue... She doesn't normally dress like this on the job, but some of the Girls invited her to dinner at a swanky restaurant, so she thought she'd kick things up a notch.
Well, it's been an interesting few days to be sure... I'm gradually feeling better, and with less pain. My appetite is coming back, and I should be back to normal (whatever that is..) by the week-end. But in keeping with the way things go around Rod's Lair.......
Monday, Jo and I had our overdue appointments at the eye doctor. *Sigh.....* As I suspected, I have a cataract in the right eye. Poor Jo has one in not only the right, but the left as well. We're both scheduled for cataract surgery August 1st, then Jo goes back the 15th for the other eye. The fun just never stops.
Then to add to the wonderful week off, my bank called yesterday to notify me of some suspicious activity on my credit card. Apparently someone obtained my CC number (I'm pretty sure I know how..), and decided to treat themselves to a vacation – courtesy of Yours Truly. Thankfully, my bank is extremely efficient at monitoring my account, and they call me if anything looks amiss. They shut down my account immediately. Of course, now I have to wait on new cards, and a new account number.
I got a second bill last week from the anesthesiologist from my hernia procedure. I thought we had paid it already, so I did some checking. We usually pay these things online, but for some reason Jo couldn't get on their website and paid it by mail - using the CC number. Apparently the payment got lost (or stolen) in the mail, and someone got the CC number off the bill. So..... Lesson, here: Never send anything with a CC number on it through the mail! The USPS is NOT in the least bit secure! Despite all the hacking, it's a lot more secure making payments on-line in my experience.
Anyway, I finally felt like doing some playing around in Poser today, and I'm actually feeling pretty good at the moment. I should be back at 100% just in time to go back to work... Bleah.....
Thanks again for all the well-wishes, sitemails-emails, and dedications! One day all this crap will be done, and it will be a loooonnnnnnnggggg time before I need to be poked, prodded, punctured, or have any body parts fiddled with.
Thanks for dropping by, and for any comments you wish to leave!
The excellent server cabinet is by patlane in the Rendo Freebies area. The walls are from the DNA_Platez package from RDNA (don't know if this is still available... If so, it's probably at DAZ)

Nope, it wasn't from here... I only use PayPal for shopping here - never used my CC @ Rendo.. Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I'll actually be able to SEE things afterwards!

Great image, Rod! She looks great! Glad you're feeling better. and just in time for the cataract surgery. I wonder how she will react when she meets Kinnie.... especially if Kinnie wants to be taught about computers

Three operations in one year? Isn't that a record for you? And does that butt cam at the beginning of the year count?
Kasha's gonna be busy, on top of avoiding North Korean air defenses (more on that soon).
As for Bindi, beauty and brains run in her family for sure. She, Mel, and Ranpha need to take out that ransomware ASAP!

Awesome render!!!

Well I hope everything turns out fine. I just went through the same thing with my credit card. But I was able to find out who it was, so I took care of that real quick. Anyway back to your render. Awesome job on the reflection and great scene. Nicely done

Probably best I don't find out who it was...... I'd wind up in jail after a smouldering crater appeared somewhere....

I hope you've got someone to drive you home from your appointment on the 1st! Neither one of you will be cleared to drive that day. So much going on for you this year! I'm looking forward to seeing you and Jo in the fall. Can't wait to catch up in person!

The T.N.A. girls sure have their recruiting tools sharpened...Bindi looks and sounds like another classy and brainy lady. I got two cataracts removed a few years ago...I've never seen better than I do now. Good luck and happy trails on your rebound to perfect health:-)

She's very lovely and sexy, and the futuristic decor is great, wonderful image !

She looks WOW! Now, about CC fraud - I had just gotten my first CC back in the 1990s and purchased some software from a company that didn't want the hassle with checks, money orders, etc... The week after I got the CC and had made my purchase I was hit with a bill for Viagra for $69.95. I immediately printed the bill and went to the bank, snipped the CC and got another one. Haven't had a problem since. I have PP, too, but seldom use it. I've checked out Bindi on Freja's site. Can't figure how I missed her! And the computer looks antique! Is that just a cover up for a super one inside? Cool to be able to recycle old stuff in new format! Now, be careful with your eye. We don't want any more surgery if we can avoid it! Keep up the good work! :-)

Beautiful reflection, RodS-san!

A warm welcome for Bindi, and my condolences for having to cope with the tech fruit flies. It seems to be a major trend here also, as wife and her son recently needed to obtain new credit cards because of an information compromise. Becoming more outwardly affluent seems to invite the worst of humanity, but I feel more secure with the "girls" on the job :)

Outstanding render - beautifully done!

Wonderful image :)

wonderfully done.

Wishing you speedy recover. I have had the same operation you had but had another procedure done at the same time and that one went a little bad so ended up back at the hospital. I never felt the hernia operation as the other one hurt much more.

Had the double cataract surgery back in Jan/Feb. when it is all over, it is very worth it. Keep on keeping on!!!!

Super sexy, especially when compared against that adequate human. Hah. She looks gorgeous. Glad you're feeling better and in good spirits despite the other complications.

I'm only back for a couple of comments today, but hope to be back for more soon. But man, August 1st, you both have cataract surgery??? (I read that when you posted it, so it's not news to me anymore, but still!) Well, I wish you both all the best, and hope this is the last procedure for you for a long while! (If I were in your shoes, I'd get out of the operation on the 1st and shout, "anything else??????")
Re the image---love how you use the model against that wonderful cabinet of processors and whatever; they have to be high powered computer equipment, because you have fans all over the place. (I assume those are fans!) I love the space on the fronts of the consoles: These aren't over-crowded modules. Bindi looks terrific and sexy against all that, with beautiful reflections too; and her shoes match her hair and harmonize with her dress. Also, she's in a cavern of some sort---a NORAD-like place underneath god-knows-what. I love the thick walls and the carved-out openings.
As for your ID theft: It's a helluva a feeling, isn't it? You sit home and suddenly someone's invaded your accounts, and you didn't even leave the house. Yes: The USPS---even though it has some very devoted people working for it (some very UN-devoted, as well), is NOT a secure system. The Social Security Administration sends things via mail, with our SSecurity numbers on them, and you wonder what century they're living in. I hope it's over with now, and you got your money back. (I was hit 4 times in 2 years, and I'm cautious to begin with; and most of them were for, like, $10.00. That may sound like a relief, since they stole very little; but, when I first saw $10.00, I wanted to call the thief and shout, "that's it???? You put me through all this s__t, for 10 f___king dollars? GET WITH IT, JACK! If you're gonna rob me, rob me, you a-hole!!!") I hope it wasn't for an arm and a leg.
Love the cavern-like image, and model, and I hope you're doing a lot better. And I wish you and Jo all the best for a week from Tuesday. (Really, everyone is getting cataract surgery these days: I'm gonna go to my doctor and tell 'm I'd like a few cataracts to be put in. Why the hell not: They gotta have a bunch of 'm laying around---let me share in the wealth!)
