One of your darker, more sinister images; and your 'death' figure is deep and mysterious, with great glowing eyes. I like all the shadow on him---it makes the details of his clothes more enticing, and it sets off the pale green tint to his face. (Also, love that scythe!) The background is right out of Frankenstein, and your light is perfect for Halloween (even though this was posted in July). I love the bats too. There doesn't seem to be a mood you don't render well, you don't seem stymied by any color combination, mood or scene. Beautifully lit and 'misted'. Another so-well-done piece from you, Steve. One after the next, you're really creative, imaginative and so articulate at these.
Steve, I'm at an hour and 30 minutes, and I have to leave comments in other galleries, so I must move on. But I see everything, and it's a great pleasure to sit for long periods, and dive into your work. You're so good---a lot better than i think you realize; and it's a joy to see your talent in all its manifestations. Thanks for your wonderful comments, and I see them in other galleries too, and appreciate them everywhere. I hope all is well with you these days, my friend.
