Well, I have posted some fun stuff so far, now for a bit of reality. This is the type of stuff I do for a living. The display unit in question is a product glorifier for a customer of mine, who happen to make sailing shoes. This is one of my favorite work images, as the lighting just worked out perfect (I think!). There are three spotlights lighting the model, and the ground plane is a texture from Ketive's "Blocks and Materials". I deliberatly kept the shoes simple so as not to take away from the impact of the display unit, which we make. Moddeled in Rhino and rendered in Flamingo with no post render enhancement.
