Pyrography ... ... La pyrogravure, tout comme la sculpture, consiste à dessiner sur un objet en creusant sa surface. Ce système de gravure n'est pas destiné à transposer le résultat sur un autre support par encrage, mais à dessiner par une brûlure qui changera la couleur du support et le creusera. Comme pour la gravure, il désigne également la technique et le résultat obtenu. Pyrography, like sculpture, consists in drawing on an object by digging its surface. This engraving system is not intended to transpose the result onto another support by inking, but to be drawn by a burn that will change the color of the support and dig it. As for engraving, it also designates the technique and the result obtained.
