Happy Birthday, Jeff! I hope your day has been filled with light, love, and creativity. This beauty was in a planter box at the Edmonds Marina, so imagine boats and sea air and beautiful flowers and sunshine and happy people all wishing you a glorious day!

Macros like this of flowers always seem so sensual. Its a lovely image, bright orange with just a touch of dark brown. Happy birthday, Jeff.

An O'Keeffe type of flower, in closeup and in deep saturated hue. A deep closeup, with very powerful presence and light and shadow. And a feeling of peering into a very private moment---even though the hues and light make it shout publicly. A beautiful shot for Jeff. (Btw, I'm not doing just one or two tonight, as I said I would: I got a second wind, so I'm doing a lot more.
