I wanted to leave another comment because you've been so kind to me here, and to thank you for your beautiful comment to Brigitte, and for your comments to her in a few other galleries...Thank you, Dee, you always speak from the center of your heart, and I appreciate that greatly.
I chose this image specifically to pick another style besides your wonderful cartoon-fairy-tale pieces (which I seem to have commented on several times of late!). Love the way you turned this soul-mate meeting into a moment etched in the heavens. It's doused in sky-blues; and the woman suddenly has wings---as soul mates do, inside---and the couple generates all these wonderful spheres, like crystal; and doves, and rays of white light. You've composed it really well too, with the rays on a single diagonal, and all those spheres and sheets of small lights (that kind-of halftone screen-of-light you created, with shapes which suggest celestial beings coming into existence, or else a big neon light-show), and with their heads perfectly placed inside the outline of that big sphere behind them. Yes, the cosmos comes together and dances at moments like these, and the couple become timeless. When I met my first soul mate, in college, we felt like this inside; and the amazing thing was, on the outside, it was a freaking mess! I spilled a huge dessert all over her---just as she bumped into me by accident at a rather uptight party---and it made a scene that everyone stopped to stare at. I wanted to crawl under the couch (she did too)...but, inside, we both felt what you portrayed here. Which just goes to say that, even as our outer lives look crazy and messy, our inner lives can be radiant and pure. Another wonderful vision from you. I'll come back for more soon...I really want to comment on more of what you've posted of late.
