Description

Daz Studio > Iray > Photoshop This was/is meant to be part of a three-panel 'comic' of sorts, for a project I've got my mind on... But I ended up SO happy with this that I just needed to upload it ASAP. <3 First of all, very proud of this outfit I've designed for her. It suits the character so well and doesn't compromise anything. The original outfit (which didn't work as well in many aspects), had a very large shawl covering her - however, this would completely cover her pose, which obviously wasn't ideal for story-telling elements. This is a wonderful compromise, being a sort of... shawl-sort. And the last color scheme was over-whelmingly brown; while this one feels more balanced. The ram horns are a new addition, but I feel they give that - well, shamanic feel, along with her tattoo'd face. :) Another exciting advantage of this outfit is that it works BEAUTIFULLY with VWD! And this means I get a very naturally draped outfit that responds to gravity and interacts correctly with her body. The reason I'm excited about this one is that I followed Shibashake's tutorials and way of doing things; and the result is a thousand times more gorgeous. I'm so so happy with how it's made things look! <3 I originally used Designdoll to create a pose reference. The pose was lovely; but I realized it didn't quite portray the character correctly. The last pose was a bit like a nervous anime schoolgirl; something too immature and expressive for my girl. Vania would stand quite demurely, rather than looking like a new-born calf trying to walk. She's other-worldly, coy, demure - at least, that's the surface of it. I love this OC and I'll likely be rendering her a good deal, so have fun with that, haha! A bit too late, but I meant to change the colors of the sandals to match the rest of the color scheme...
