Another one of my early renders with V8/G8. Done with an HDRI backdrop and lighting.

I've always liked this HDRI background but never quite got the right intensity lighting and image working together to my satisfaction. Your image really is quite sublime and Christine's Hair is fantastic. I like!!!!!!

I find that unless I rotate the character to a different angle, thus losing what I perhaps like as the background, adding just a little bit of the camera's headlight(from 0.10 to 0.30) works fairly well to brighten the character. The downside is that I find it slows the rendering time on my pc; which can be quite a lot at times.

Splendid rendering. The Barefoot Contessa as never seen before. About as close to being a photograph as one can achieve without being a photograph.
