Description

If you don't care to read about the creative process (and I for one don't blame you if you don't). you can skip my little story. You shan't be missing much. Quite some time ago, Joe Quick created a G3F costume called Zero my Hero. Like many such wardrobes, it adapted moderately well to G3M. And, like many Iray-only products, I was able to doll it up with shaders to make it usable with 3DL. In this case, the shaders were from the Genesis Supersuit for the most part. The guitar you see here in the render was originally made by ghostonastring for sale on Turbosquid as a tribute to a Washburn guitar used by Paul Stanley. My good friend Trevor (known as Td3d over at Daz) made the guitar usable within Daz as a learning experience, I modified the textures a bit and there you have it. No sense in letting perfectly good lessons learned in the school of hard knocks go to waste. I liked Zero my Hero because it reminded me of the old Night Flight comic redubbing of "Dynaman." And, if you remember Dynaman you might also remember the obscure reference that I chose for the title of this render. Postwork in Lo-Fi. Enjoy!

Well I like when people tell how they made there scene. I learn that way. So thanks for the story. You did a great job in posing the character to play guitar. Thats not easy to do. Nice scene and great render.

What Cal83street said! I always love to hear about workflow and ideas of the artist, and most of all I love it when I love the piece it's all about! ;)

The pose is really lifelike! As an ex metal shouter I was air-guitarring a lot, and mirroring our guitar and bass players was fun deluxe! Also I do really like the equalizer-like background, makes me almost hear the music and go with the riffs.

Retro sci-fi at its best, à le Dan. What's not to like? :D
