Description

For Rod & Jo: Amber sends her happiness and joy for the news about Rod (RodS) and Jo (his wife)'s cataract surgery. Both operations were very successful and now they are recovering quite nicely.

Well, give Amber a big hug for me, Mike! Most appreciated!

I am amazed at the purity and clarity of colors now that the cataract is gone. It just blows me away! I have to say, I'm glad to be done with all this surgical stuff. Jo still has to have her left eye done, but she's a lot less apprehensive now that her vision in the right is so much better.

Thanks again to you and everyone! You all rock!

Great news, Mike, and thanks so much for telling us. I see Rod got here before I did, but Rod, if you read the other comments, congratulations to both of you. I've heard that cataract removal brings clarity and colors that people didn't think possible for years before. I'm so glad! (Maybe your uploads will set fire to our computers, now...whoosh!) Love the image, Mike, love the pixie-ish figure, and the shadow, and the pose, and that fractal-y starburst behind like a halo made of energy lines and fragile glass. All on white. (You use white very expressively.) Love your work. (I loved your recent photos too---one would think, from your photos, that you live in a magical place...that walkway is probably something we see during our walks, but never notice; in your photo, it pops right off the page). I"ll be back to comment more later this month, but I had to thank you for the news, and send Rod and Jo a big "congratulations," and the wish that Jo's final installment is totally successful. (I may be getting cataract surgery myself---I damn well intend, afterwards, to see infra-red, radio waves, x-rays, blu-rays, whatever, and I intend to see inside trees, rocks and planets. If that doesn't happen, I'm suing...) Heal totally, Rod! Great news!
