I suppose since I have been a member since 2003, and it's now 2014, I could go ahead and write something here.
I first started with Poser 5 back in 2004 when I created my first image. It quickly became an obsession and a release for my artistic urges. Since I had to sell my piano, and oil paints took much longer to achieve some sort of relief, CGI filled a void.
At the same time of learning Poser 5, I started learning Photoshop as well. For me, the two go hand in hand.
In my experience, rarely have I had a render come out of Poser ready to go. I love Poser don't get me wrong. It's great for setting up models, and lights and props and poses. Since I was going to take the render into Photoshop anyway to add my signature, I started learing how I can use Photoshop to fix a crease in the model that doesn't look quite right, or how to add ambience to the render to give it the mood I am looking for.
I googled every Poser and Photoshop tutorial I could find, and just started reading and learning and utilizing, and to this day, I still pick up little tricks to enhance my image.
For me this is strictly a hobby. Something to do in my spare time, LOL! well I say spare time like I have lots of it, however, I don't.
I have had offers of creating images for some websites for pay, and illustrations for books, however, after having my own website for a while, I realized just how demanding and tiring it can be.
So for now, I am perfectly happy just creating images for myself, and sharing some of those images here at Renderosity.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Fantastic portrait and fine work of art! I am glad you are back in business! Sorry to hear Poser Pro 2014 wouldn't work in Windows 10 for you. I got a new computer this past February just to back up a computer I got a few years ago. I didn't have any trouble getting Poser Pro 2014 to install. It worked fine right away. What i did have trouble with was getting Office 2003 and Photoshop 7 to install. I gave up on them for a few months, then, by a happy accident, I tried installing them a few days ago and with some ideas off the internet, got them both to work in Windows 10. So, I hope to see much more of your work here!
