Description

Here is the first of a caterpillar series. It is always nice when a subject cooperates with a nice pose.Bugs and critters seldom do, so usually I have to force the issue. With caterpillars that is rather easy to do. They don't move fast, they don't jump, and they can't fly away. I simply snap off a twig or plant stem and then keep putting it in front of the caterpillar. Eventually they will climb onto it then I can hold the vegetation in my left hand and focus while holding the camera in my right hand. My thanks to those who take the time to comment.
