For more than 20 years I have worked as a technical writer and commercial designer. My primary focus has been on print and Web design and I'm just now exploring the many incredible tools that exist to create 3D work. My main tools are Poser and Clip Studio Paint, which I use to create comic book style line art. I am also published an Origins Award winning Wild West game called GUTSHOT (see www.hawgleg.com for more info).

This is some of your best work - there's an entertaining image, skillfully composed and executed, which serves the demands of function. Absolutely outstanding.

Again -- thanks very much! This one took a lot of back and forth between Manga Studio and InDesign, as I kept having to adjust the "poster" regions so the text would fit. A lot of work, but worth it in the long run.

It's magic, although this is digital, it takes me back to old times, when a friend and meself were trying to do comics, pens, ink, fineliners. Here, I can almost smell the ink and feel the little room we always met to create our stories.
Or simply put: excellent! (see, I can walk that walk, too )

I used to make small comics back in the 80s and 90s. Lots of fun working with other people. Of course, I was the writer because I can't draw anything "realistic" by hand (I have a decent toon style, though). I really was shooting for that 1980s vibe with this piece, and I do think I nailed it.
