Great perspective !!!!

It's interesting to me, that these tall conifers and a distant cousin, long leaf pine, are on opposite coasts.

Now I am obligated in trying to identify why these particular species have not completely vanished... oh what a gift to have been able to see this country before man was declared its guardian.
