My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

What a wonderful statement. I will have to look up Margaret Atwood. Outstanding post work and a great sense of motion.

Beautiful combination of power & softness. I'm a fan of Atwood's - I finished her MaddAddam trilogy a few months ago - an amazing dystopian vision of a possible future in which genetic engineering has run amok...

A beautiful reminder of one of our favorite parks. Flowing water is like fire for me...I can sit and watch it for hours. Your original picture is fine but your experimental postwork has really brought out the best here...highlights and shadows...ahhh, mighty nice.

Laotze (Lao-tzu), one of the first Taoists, said (in essence), be like water, not like rock, as water will wear-down rock eventually, but never the other way around. A silken postwork of water, turning it into curtains of soft, silken light and shadow. Lots of light on top and bottom, making the dark bands in the center balance everything out. A beautifully balanced piece, with wonderful silken textures...
