(Please Zoom.)
I'm not back yet, but I wanted to send my wishes to Mark (wysiwig).
Several of you have probably seen Mark's latest upload, telling us his experiences from the last couple of years. He's had several losses, including more than his share of family; and he's had ill loved-ones as well.
I know we normally share quiet and comforting images for loss; but I wanted to send Mark light. So I chose this little garden near home...it's small, but always bursting. With it, I send healing and light in the hope that Mark is bathed in both each day.
And...if you don't know Mark, romp around his gallery: He's a marvelous magical soul who takes us around the world---literally---and shares the most wonderful insights, images and tales from everywhere on earth, including his home. And he's shared all kinds of touching portraits and remembrances as well. Yet, even during loss---when his posts are scant---he's commented on us, which I so appreciate. (I don't do it nearly as much.) Giving that unique brand of support, love, and humor that he's known for among his fans. I'm deeply grateful for it all.
So please join me in sending healing hugs to Mark, in the hope that he'll have much more peace and no more losses; and that his loved ones---family and friends alike---will find great healing as well. All my sympathies, Mark, you're a very special light around here, may you get all the light there is to get...with blessings in abundance, my friend, you deserve them all, Mark
(I'll return soon. Thanks so much for visiting!)

As always, Mark, very generous. Thank you for the kind words and thoughts, they are very much appreciated. I tend to withdraw when dealing with loss and so my absence. I am almost finished taking care of my brother's affairs. Since he was a professional golfer all of his adult life my sister and I and a few of his friends will spread his ashes at the Pebble Beach golf course. After that I will take a long trip across the United States. Look for me to hit Chicago sometime in the Spring. More details once my plans firm up.
Its a lovely image. No one has ever given me flower before. Thank you.

A truly beautiful and moving dedication for him, Mark. My thoughts, prayers, and heart go out to him. I know what he's going through.
I'm not familiar with his gallery, so I'll go take a look. From your words, I know it will be well worth exploring.
This garden is gorgeous - a wonderful, calming place in the middle of the city, and a respite from all the gloom and doom these days.

A beautiful image for Mark. The light shimmers and shines and makes me feel like good things are about to happen. I see he's planning on being in Chicago in the spring. Make the time to see him in person, if you can. He's a gentle, quiet, loving soul, and totally worth the effort. :)

Do so enjoy the front yards of the beautiful and picturesque row houses in your neighborhood. Far more than that I enjoy the way your heart goes out to all who suffer. Your thoughtfulness, your care and your love for others is so abundantly clear in your words and deeds and I am sure in other ways that I have not imagined.

I am sure this beautiful capture will brighten Mark's day, it is a lovely thoughtful idea to cheer him up. You live in a beautiful street. Thank you also for the birthday wishes you sent, much appreciated. The years and days go by so fast these days that I worry that I am not going to get all the pictures in my head done. lol. Take care Mark and I hope your health is a lot better these days. :)
