Dee, I'm at an hour and a half (and I haven't even finished this comment!) so I must go to sleep (and I have other galleries I haven't set foot in yet)...so with real regret, this will have to be my last comment for tonight. I hope to get back here again before I step away, but boy it's hard to choose here, there are a whole bunch of others I'm dying to comment on, but time just intrudes. So I'll end with this one, 'cause it's another of your delightful cartoon images...
I love your expressions on this big clunky bear. Love how you put those overalls on him, and his floppy ears, and big nose, and those crazy glasses (like he bought them without anyone saying, "yeah, those glasses? not the best choice, bear!" Great cartoon stuff. ANd I love the open room, and that wonderful creamy green on the furniture. (You get really unusual and rich, bright hues.) And the little refrigerated section in the back, and the mechanical "hello"---it's nice to know that bears have to contend with computerized graphics too...(Ok, that IS a bear, right? I mean, it's not a dog, and it's not a moose---or a pigeon---so it's gotta be a bear, right? Go along with me here, 'cause I'm trying not to make a total ass of myself...)
And when he discovers that everything's "closed," he sits on the table! That's real cartoon stuff. Total delight, and the hues---like so many of your hues---are bright and joyful. Even in shadow.
Well I'm at an hour and 40 minutes, so I bring my comments to a close, but it's been a total pleasure. (I have so many comments left for your pieces...I am so slow! I think I did 10 images of yours, in 1 and 2/3 hours! Slow, slow, slow...) Terrific work all around, Dee.
