Description

A Novel by Geoff Briscoe... The Fourth Character to be released is Gerhard Stiener of the SS. Character Profile: Though an Officer of the much feared SS, Oberfuhrer Gerhard Steiner adhered to the ideals of a professional soldier. His gentlemanly ways belied the warrior in him. He had taken a fancy of a young French girl, Yvette, wining and dining her, but not realising that she was actually a British SOE agent. While he served the Wehrmacht faithfully, his faith in the Nazi Party, however was starting to wane. Artwork: Rendered in Daz Studio 4.9 - Iray Postwork: Photoshop Would like to thank... tannenbaum from Renderosity for the wonderful SS Suit. The product is for M4 but here I managed to use it for Genesis - although not that perfect a switch... still managed to get it to work.

From what I've read about Steiner, your presentation is correct. Though an SS man, I came to respect him. Apparently the old officer ideals in some of these SS officers took precedence over the Nazi regimes orders. I was surprised to find several non-Nazi SS officers when reading WWII history. My only comment on your image is he looks a bit too fat. Could this be due to the clothing? Keep up the good work! :-)

He was leaner, but the author decided to take writer's prerogative to portray him to be a bit heavier in the story. Thank you for your comments and interest.

I hate Nazis... There were no good SS officer at all. But well made the picture.

I am not too sure about that, I am sure there were some of them who were just too afraid to oppose and went along to stay alive. I mean human beings must have a conscience... but sure in every history, the victors were often brutal to those who lost. The ideology however, is beyond me to understand. It is our sad part of history. Thank you for your honest comment.
