Props: Second-circle SC HDRi Lights for Daz Studio
Been away for a few months, after facing some difficult work challenges. Have used the time however, to reflect on improving my artwork, which seemed to be getting stale of late. Whilst trying some straight digital art in Photoshop, have also taken the time to learn DAZ Studio. A long learning curve to get some decent renders, but very impressed with Genesis and Victoria 8. Iray in particular, produces some impressive results, allowing fast GPU render times on my graphics card. Very little postwork used on this render.
Still learning however, and much practice still needed. Many thanks in particular to second-circle both here, and at DA, for all the very comprehensive lighting and shader tutorials.
Haven't given up on V4 and Poser yet however :) Still need to master rendering in Superfly downstream.

Sort-of gotten away from 3-D art anymore, but your work always has that "cut-above" appeal, Deane. Think you're doing well with DS and Iray! Lovely image... very attractively done.
