I'm only doing one per gallery tonight, as I'll be stepping away for a few weeks (though I'll be looking at everything, for sure), but I wanted to comment on this for a while now. First, because it's a great shot of americana (and it got into N. Geographic???). And second, because of your usual high clarity, the beautiful contrast of hues---brought out by your high clarity---and the dominance of this place, taking up the whole shot due to your angle and the wonderful bright sky. With the sign on top. A terrific bold shot of a very real place, with all the warts and decay so visible to us. And presented flush forward. Terrific shot, Richard. It's totally touchable...
