Description

I have not done very much photography at night but there are a few instances that I experimented with it. This Grasshopper shot is one example of my experiments with a home made diffuser for my Nikon D40X. I used a plastic milk jug to cut out a shape that would cover the built-in flash. I suspect that this grasshopper was cleaning his antenna just as I pushed the shutter button. The result is an image that appears to show him raising one leg to shield his eyes. Hence the title. My thanks to those who have taken the time to comment. The feedback is appreciated. Lee
