Description

(Please zoom.) ------ My last upload was a story of a pained and tortured old friend. I even changed his name (it wasn't "Eric"), out of respect for his privacy. It was a difficult story, to be sure. Since very few readers got through it, I just wanted to say that I understand---it's fine. I just needed to post it, and it wasn't meant to be too long or uncomfortable. Also, it required me describing a play---which is really hard!---so it was particularly challenging to write. Just know I needed to post it for him, and because he was an artist (warts and all). And thank you to those who commented: I appreciate it greatly. (Well, I appreciate all of you greatly!)) My next tale will be less painful... ------ A wonderful week to you all...and I'll be in your galleries this week. Peace, Mark --------------------------

There's definitely something very eerie & mysterious about this - I could imagine it being a frame from a David Lynch film. That "orange apparition" Andrea mentioned is definitely part of it, but also the other bits of orange-redness (in her hair & on the ground), the deep black shadows & her two differently colored legs. Fiery magic...

a nice shot, the shadows are deep and mysterious. I like the way the light on the back wall matches her hair. :)

And there she is, Ms. Dawn Walker herself! I'm with Andrea and Claude. It looks like she is walking towards the "mysterious orange apparition". I see a door in there. I wonder where it leads? Technically a fine picture but it also suggests a story.

All the above, Mark. And I'm still recovering from your panegyric on Eric.

I think it will approach her from the side, unexpectedly. The resulting meeting will be straight out of J.C.Howell! :)
